Despite a good-faith order placed by me 12/6/06 for a ring, as of 5/20/07, I have still not seen my order. My first email to the company a month or so after I placed my order was met with a prompt reply by Leo Wells to tell me that items were backordered due to the holidays. This was my first chomp at the bait in the water.
Several other emails I sent were met by Mr. Wells's assurance that this was indeed a ridiculous amount of time to be waiting for an order, and he wavered between telling me that the order was on its way to his store and that mine would be sent out within the week, to the fact that he would be pulling the inventory from the shelves himself to get it out to me. I now realize that he was just buying time so that the 45 days PayPal gives a consumer to file a complaint would be able to expire.
After too many emails and phone calls to the company to remember, Mr. Wells doesn't even bother to lie anymore. He simply refuses to return my correspondence and ignores my requests for either my product or a refund. After contacting everyone cc'd on the last email sent to me, I discovered that all of us have had the same or similiar experiences with Mr. Wells.

Update on Witchstore

I've recently been in communication with the new management of witchstore.net. They have expressed what I perceive to be a sincere desire to clean up the bad reporting of their site in connection with Leo Wells. They have extended me the courtesy of replacing my initial order with comparable products, despite the financial hit they are taking because of the circumstances surrounding Mr. Wells. Kudos to you, witchstore,net! I am taking a leap of faith by reversing my opinion of my initial account of this online store, barring any additional problems. They have a nice shop with even nicer products and I believe they were as victimized by Leo Wells as were the customers.

Hello Mary,
I've seen a few problems since new management bought the website on March 15, 2007. I am a current employee of the store. Leo W. Wells was *supposedly* accepting all profit (he did that all right!), liability and record of all orders prior to March 15. Apparently from what we are learning, he has run off of on many, including us as we can't seem to get him to reply either. I suggest you contact new management, I do not remember anyone fitting your description doing so. You are actually harming the website's new owners with this report, however it's Leo W. Wells and his new store, Incense Oils and Brews (incenseoilsandbrews.com) that has your money.

I suggest if you want help with your problem, you simply contact the new management so they can resolve this for you, you'd probably get store credit, not sure about the refund as they don't have any records prior to 03/15/07. I know we would rather take a total loss and ship some order Leo has ripped you off over, than have these reports filed against us through no fault of our own.
Hope to hear from you Mary so we can fix the issue that Leo has created.
