The Ultimate Party Bus of New England unprofessional and rude and threatened to cancel the day before Greenville New Hampshire

We used Ultimate Party Bus of New England for my wife's 50th birthday party.  I had 28 people and I rented the 35 passenger bus.  The day before the party, i got called by Doug from their office.  He sounded like he was stoned or asleep or both.  He was an ahole who was rude, and complained that we had too many stops.  He also told me I had to pay in cash as the contract stated I had to call them 48 hours before the trip to pay by credit card which they already had on file.  I did not originally see this in the contract, but it does state it.  This is an obvious method to make you pay in cash rather than by credit card.  As he continued to complain about the stops, I asked if I needed to call another limo company, he then said go ahead, I just canceled your bus.  Again, this is the day before the event so I did not have much choice.  I was able to have him keep the bus as rented, but it was obvious that they did not want to do this gig. 

The day of the event, I got a call from the driver, Michael, who told me the bus we rented, was not running, and we had to take a 30 passenger.  Well the 30 passenger was more like a 25 passenger at best.  we had 4 people who had to stand the entire trip.  But they gave me a whole $100 off; isn’t that awesome. The driver was also rude, complained about having to back down a street, and asked if my guest could drive down the street and park.  He ended up backing down the street.  We then went over 2 hours, which they have an  overtime rate, which I agreed to in the contract, when he first picked me up, and several times during the trip, he reminded me again, and again, I told him the rate was no problem.  He then complained that we were 2 hours over and he  wanted to go home.  The bus was clean, but extremely dark and we had no control over the lights or the heat. The front of the bus was extremely hot, and the back was extremely cold as it felt like there was a window open but we couldn’t find where it was coming from.  Needless to say, we made the most of the trip, but I highly recommend NOT USING THIS COMPANY and using another limo  company.   I will never rent from them again.  There are a ton of companies that rent buses and I would stay away from this one.  I hope this review helps you pick a better company.
