The Unlocking Company DON"T TRUST THESE SCAM ARTIST!. THEY TAKE YOUR $ AND RUN! San Diego, CA Internet

I purchased an unlocked, used AT&T cell phone from Amazon marketplace. AT&T wouldn't activate phone due to the phone's association to a delinquent account. Visited theunlockingcompany.com and fell for their very deceptive promises to unlock any cell phone. Purchased the option for an unlocking code for $16.99 on August 30, 2016. On the website it says to be patient. I waited approximately 4 weeks and e-mailed & phoned customer service for the code that never came.

The customer service phone number invariably gives a message that they are busy and to "leave a message and we'll return your call." Today is October 25, 2015 and I'm still waiting for an e-mail or call back. Never did get the code I paid for. Needless to say, I returned the phone to Amazon.com for a full refund. Glad Amazon has good customer service. The unlocking company is a totally disreputable business. Don't be fooled like I was. If minimally, one prospective customer reads my report and steers clear of this company, then I will feel vidicated!!!!
