I was a developer on IMVU. I had spent hundreds of dollars in software and hundreds of dollars in buying credits. I had thousands of credits in inventory, and I had thousands of credits to use for purchases. I had also purchased the AP and the VIP

Several days ago, IMVU Inc send me a spam message to my account asking me to take a survey. Most of the questions were about IMVU and my 'experience' I was not allowed to answer the way I would have wanted to because it was multiple choice. But I did answer the way I best could.

I had also closed all my windows on my homepage and wrote (without profanity) the things that I was dissatisfied about in re IMVU i.e

The loss of inventory,

No credit refunds or only partial,

The fact that I would spend credits to submit a product and IMVU would get up to 50% of the sales, sometimes even more.

That I had cancelled my VIP account (monthly purchase) because one of the things I was suppose to get was a quicker turn around to me email and that I had several emails out that were months old.

The fact that products I made, spending thousands of credits on were disabled, IMVU promised to fix the problem and never did, subsequently I had to spend thousands more on re-making the products...only to have it happen again (a total of three times)

The fact that I would spend credits on making a new product, submit it, have it pass the new 'peer review' only to have IMVU disable it several days later and not give me my submission credits back.

That I felt IMVU was a double standard, ripping the adults off so that the children could play. Such as disabling items passed into the catalog, yet several months ago they promoted 'The Masters Villa' which clearly had a BDSM theme to it.

This is only the tip of my complaints.

Now...several days later, my account is disabled, with no explanation. I had not stated anything against IMVU that was not the truth.

Because of this action I have lost hundreds of thousands of credits in inventory, and I have lost hundreds of thousands in credits I had in my account for purchases.

And to add insult to injury! they are still selling my products and I am still getting an email everytime one is sold.

It's no wonder myspace.com has lasted as long as it has. They don't pull the B.S. that IMVU does.

I have read, and re-read the TOS of service (which changes according to the wind) and nowhere in there have I done anything wrong.

If anyone knows of an action against IMVU I want to join!
