There was a broken pipe that occurred at the Derry location. The owner posted on the club website that it was reopening ASAP and kept billing members there monthly dues offering use of other clubs at great inconvenience to members. The owner strung Derry club members along for months and then suddenly announced that the club was not reopening. Members did not challenge dues because the staff on the phone kept claiming they would reopen " in a week or two" and kept this line of b.s. for months. When i cancelled my membership, ABC Financial which bills the members and would stop pulling dues out of my checking only after I threatened FTC and BBB actions.I had been a member for years and had a lifetime locked in rate but this owner's dishonesty cost him a life member

Once again the American Consumer thinks ONLY of themselves. YOUR business wasnt the "deal breaker" for that business. YOU claim that the owner has lost YOUR business BECAUSE he took his MONTHLY dues per the contract YOU signed. No it wasnt YOUR business it was the FACT that they closed. See how self important YOU have made YOURSELF?!?!?!
First I would welcome YOU to this site, but I have to caution you. IT IS NOT YOUR SOAP BOX!!!!! This site is for those consumers who have ACTUALLY been ripped off. Now we both know Derry isnt as exciting as it is in Stephen King books. So RoR is probably the best your going to find in "Drama Entertainment". But dont start drama if you dont want other consumers to post rebuttals.
We give better then we get. The consumers who post here are humans JUST LIKE YOU!! THEY howeve have backgrounds in retail ect. SO they are NOT as dumb as YOU would wish for. It also means that they dont buy BS!!!
I would caution YOU as your post come DANGEROUSLY close to slander and defamation. I see you have made a SECOND account. Good for you. This means that you can be double tagged for a media crime if YOU were to commit one. PLEASE remember to keep your posts to the point aqnd dont embellish. When you write LIES its a lot like telling them. Someone who can read can spot inconsistancies.
Just remember that life isnt fair, and YOU have no idea whats going on besides your NARROW view of ANY situation. If you remember this you will have an enjoyable experience on RoR.
