This company exploits their workers and rip-offs many many clients. the company is family owned, who are the most biased in the company. many workers have complained but their jobs are threatened or make a call to INS.
when cashing pay checks, the banks says that there isn't sufficient funds to cash. there many times that workers haven't been paid for months and if refusing to work, the yardman will not pay your back pay.
they create bogus charges to clients and expects the few, haven't been paid, disrespected workers to finish the job yesterday. They fire workers at will, for no reason, even though it's a right to work state, everybody knows that management/owners discriminates.
The owners are spending almost all profit for their personal interest and it would not be surprising to see the yardman filing for bankruptcy. Even without paying all the back pay to all there workers and former workers.
It's be weeks and haven't been paid!!! we have to feed our families, pay bills, etc. yet the owners have the newest truck with their starbucks coffee yelling out order to the workers in the hot sun doing their dirty work.
The Yardman Inc. is a modern slavery employer.

I was a potential customer of this company. 1st it took a couple of rescheduled appointments before I had someone come out. 2nd the kid that finally showed up reeking of cigarettes and the strong stench of marijuana, had no idea what any of the answers were to my "LANDSCAPE" questions, and had no ideas on a design for my landscape, (mind you he works for a landscape company) this kid just listened and took some notes with a smile and a blank look... (I almost was able to see the question marks floating above his head) dont get me wrong he was a nice kid but not helpful when it came to the reason he was there, my landscape. 3rd He said he would give me a call the next day with some ideas and a quote, well I never herd from him, a week later I called and left a msg, I didnt get a call from him for 2 weeks. By that time I aleady had another landscape company meet with me, give me a resonable price, and working on my yard. If it has new management they really need to drug screen employees, and not have kids that are so unprofessional meet with potential customers. Just a suggestion for this company. "The Yardman" should be "The Yard POTHEADS".
A complete waste of my valuable time.

The origional report above is outdated, and i myself have had work done by this company more recently. They were more than satisfactory and had a lot of knowledge with what they were doing. They kept my landscape within my budget and still made my front yard come back to life.
For Public Information
I belive this company does great work and i have reccomended them to friends and family members.
I also belive that they have had a change in management since 2009, this may explain the disgruntled person filing above
