First of all, I'm glad that I didn't spend money with this company! I was very much considering doing business with them, and I thought I'd do a quick online chat with them to see if I could get a color sample before buying the shutters. My wife and I need to replace all the shutters on our house, and I don't want to order something before seeing it in person first.

When doing the online chat I simply stated that I would like to just get a sample of their shades of dark blue as I didn't need to see anything other than that color, and I didn't want to pay $10 for samples. I'm not really sure whether I was chatting with Rick or Robin because both names appeared at times during the chat. When they refused to oblige, I stated that I didn't want to buy their product without seeing it first. I also stated that I don't like that they want to charge me $10 just to see samples, which if I didn't like what I saw, would make me out ten bucks for nothing. I told them that I'll just go to a local store to which they replied "Sounds good".

I was astonished! I expected them to do what any reputable company would do- try to get my business. That was not the case here. I told them that I didn't appreciate their lack of customer service, and they had just sealed the deal on not getting my business to which they replied "nice". My jaw hit the floor! I had told them at the beginning of the chat that I was in the market for nine sets of shutters, which would be a $500+ transaction. You'd think they'd be more concerned about getting my business. NOPE! Well, as I told them, they WILL NOT GET MY MONEY!

I was so amazed at the customer no service that I figured there must be a Ripoff Report on them. I wish that I had thought to check Ripoff Report before even considering their company. I could've saved myself a lot of trouble, but then I wouldn't have been able to provide you with another reason to AVOID THIS COMPANY!! As I said, I am so glad that I didn't spend any money with this so-called company. It sounds to me from reading prevous Ripoff Reports and from my own experience that this isn't a real company at all. It's just an internet scam! DO NOT SPEND MONEY AT WWW.THEARCHITECTURALDEPOT.COM!

I'll make sure I check Ripoff Report before considering any other company. Thanks Ripoff Report!
