A month ago, i had my car advertised on craigslist. A week later i got a call from a customer service (I have no idea how they got my #). I was told by a male representative that i could place an advert on their web page for $10 for the first 30 days and if i choose to end my contract i have to mail in a receipt with my signature within 30 days of the posting. It sounded good! I gave my credit information for the withdrawer of $10. Two weeks (Remember 2 weeks)prior to the elapsed date i decided to end the contract. I looked through the paper, signed it and sent it in. After the elapsed date, there was a withdrawer of $140!!!
I called customer service and told them about the withdrawer, i was told by a representative that i failed to notarize the receipt. Now this was 2 weeks after i mailed in my receipt to LONGWOOD INDUSTRIES INC. I asked the representative who identified herself as a supervisor that while was i not notified of the error? Her response? "You failed to notarize it"! So i was penalized (punished), for signing the paper, failing to notarize it and mailing it 2 weeks prior to my elapsed 30 days with the sum of $140!!!
I must be really stupid to send in my receipt within 2 weeks with no intention of cancelling my advert!!
I subscribed to this industry in good faith and a level of trust; and i was punished for signing and not notarizing my receipt within 2 weeks to stop LONGWOOD from continuing the advert of my vehicle and a charge to my account of $140!!!

What i have gathered is this:

1) The customer service don't tell you all you need to know to place your car on their ad machine.
2) Biglot will capitalize on your every error to charge your account to make profit.
