I was asked to interpret and complete an assignment. After I confirmed my attendance the person who gave me the assignement did not pick up my calls.  I was hesitant to still fulfill the assignment. Because I am a very ethical employee, I didn't want to put the company in a bad reputation. I also didn't want the client to be dissapointed. I went and compeleted the job. Then an hour after the job has started the contact person told me it was rescheduled through e-mail. How can something be rescheduled if I was on the actual job sitting with the client.

The person who gave me the assignment in the first place was very unprofessional. First, he didn't respond to inquiries prior to the job. Second, he failed to notify me if it was rescheduled the day before the date of the assignment. Third, he missed to give me a very important timesheet that I have to have it signed by the client.

They harass you to comply an assignment but if it is done the message is "See you"!

After two weeks, they needed my service again so they called me five times a day by different employees. First, they e-mailed and I declined the assignment because I was not available but they don't stop from there. How can they expect me to do another assignment if they haven't resolved the first issue. At that time I was not guaranteed by them if I will get paid for the so called "rescheduled" assignment but they want me to do another assignment.

Because they badly needed someone to comply an interpreting job, they promised that they will pay the "rescheduled job". I believed that they will. But a month had passed and it was not paid. The second month I called them back to follow up and they said to call me back.

It is very exhausting to deal with this company. They have lied many times and promised to this and that but there are no results.

They don't know that a person who fulfilled that "rescheduled job" could have had another appointment but chose to postpone it because she complied to a commitment.

If you are thinking about working with this company please think again. I don't want you to go through with stress and fatigue dealing with them. You might learn and gain more experience from other fields and companies who have professional employees and good management. This company seem not to know how to value working individuals with regard to their time, ethics, and reliance.

If you are an intern or newly grad do not start your career with them.

I was never paid and probably never will.

I have learned my lesson the hard way. I wish I listened to the reviews and reports first about this company-TheBigWord Inc but I gave them a chance and still went. Do not waste gas or fare commuting becase there is no guarantee you will get paid.

P.S. They say that they pay once a month (Ex. the assignment is on September 16th, you will get your pay on October 30th) but I never got a penny.
