This is amazing that the feds are not able to take this website down! Our company (www.idshop.com) is constantly receiving calls from people looking for their fraudulent id cards, or their money back, when in fact we are a totally different company than the one named here. Our company (established in 1981) is in the business of selling the equipment necessary to produce identification cards to businesses, schools, and government agencies. Our number is (800) 228-6522, and our website is http://www.idshop.com. WE ARE IN NO WAY ASSOCIATED WITH THIS SCAM COMPANY but we are affected by these crooks on a daily basis, and we want it to stop.

Apparently the "fake" business (www.theidshop.com) was set up by an individual named Robert Sek in Texas back in 1998 and he then sold it to another unnamed entity after being shut down by the FBI once. Here is a government document frmo 2000: http://bulk.resource.org/gpo.gov/hearings/106s/64986.pdf that outlines the many fraudulent sites, where Sek and theidshop.com are mentioned.

I am writing to let people know that our company (that does NOT make fake ID cards) is in no way associated with this scam.

We are in the process of trying to get our legal counsel and the federal government to issue a Cease and Desist order to their ISP in order to take the site down. This is very frustrating.
