Theladders.com ripoff Charged me for a full month premium membership but expired the service early and refused any refund citing their terms of service New York New York
*Author of original report: theladders.com makes good
My billing cycle started on Feb 15. theladders.com renewed my membership on 3/17, 4/14, and 5/12. I didn't really use the service in May, but when I tried to log-in, early in June, it said my premium subscription had expired. I contacted theladders.com on 6/7 to advise them I didn't receive my full month. They said their terms of service say they can bill me at any time and withdraw my membership at any time. They said no refund would be offered and offered to start a new agreement with me at $30/month rather than my previous $25.

I exchanged a few more e-mails with theladders.com, providing them with my billing dates and account termination date. They specificaly told me there would be no refund.. but then 2 weeks later a 1 month refund just showed up on the account. Strange to stonewall me and then later (after it's all over) give me what I asked for up front.
