Themeware, iPageBuilder deceptive company fraudulent ripoff business Newport Beach California

It all began with an infomercial staring Richard Karn the guy who plays Al on the t.v. show "Tooltime". He was touting this fabulous internet business opportunity, Called "The Internet Tool Box".


I took the bait and realized after signing the contract, that they gave nothing that was promised. I was promised a thousand products to choose from for my site and they gave a catalog showing a handful of items instead. They talked of their virtual warehouse, which housed thousands of items (virtual in their minds). It never existed! When I confronted them about products/warehouse, they said they were working a new deal with SCM suppliers of California and it will cost me $200.00 upfront plus cost of product to become a member of this new warehouse.

I tried to get out of the contract and they refused. Threatening me with a lawsuit, ceasesure of my home or leins against me. So I tried to continue my website using my own products. Once again I was screwed. They promised me placement on search engines for free, such as: Yahoo, AltaVista, Lycos, Infoseek and WebCrawler. I was never accepted by any.

I contacted their personal Internet Business Consultant and was told to contact Leasecomm to try and get out of my contract. Leasecomm told me to contact Themeware because they were already paid and that Themeware should refund us the monies. Once again, I was SCREWED.

I have had this Internet Tool Box since Jan. 2000 and I continue paying Leasecomm on a monthly basis. I still have a website at iPageBuilder (Themeware) that has not been used since Nov. 2000. It is completely blank. It will remain so until I closeout my contract with Leasecomm. And so the Rip Off continues.
