Had a Therma Tru Rustic Collection fiberglass entry door style CC 107 with matching sidelights and transom Installed on our newly built house in 2014. In 2016 the seal on the decorative glass panel in the door failed due to the soldering bowing out so far as to cause the pieces of decorative glass to separate from the soldering causing a condensation problem between the two panes of glass.  This door is completely shielded from the sun by a front porch and we have no storm door that causes a build up of heat on the door.  All they would do is send me a new glass panel and tell me to look at you tube to find out how to install it myself.  I am a 68 year old woman. This is not helpful or fair after the hefty price I paid for this door.

I take issue with this statement in the rebuttal: "What it sounds like is themal damage. You know the BASIC PHYSICS of two different tempratures. The inside temp being different then the outside temp causing the weakest point to fail."

A consumer has every right to assume that an entry door is designed and manufactured to stand up to the difference in temperature between the interior of the house and the outside of the house.  So if the glass panel wasn't manufactured to be able to withstand the difference in temperature it should not be billed as an Entry door, but instead as a passage door to be used on the interior of the house.  The glass panel they suppled to me was not suitable for an entry door therefore it was defective.

 Actually its MORE then fair, YOU just want it all done for YOU and thats not going to happen. THIER responsibility ended exactly one year AFTER your purchase. If I were YOU I would take the FREE glass panels and find someone to do it for you. We get it, YOU are NOT well equiped to do it yourself. This just means YOU will have to PAY FOR IT YOURSELF! YOU are just being a selfish child and throwing a online tantrum because THEY didnt do EXACTLY what YOU wanted done. Face reality, the world doesnt revolve around YOU or what YOU think. THEY did NOT have to do ANYTHING for you so many years AFTER the purchase. Its NOT about standing behind thier product, which they ARE doing. YOU just want the cake and to eat it as well. THEY are being MORE then fair, YOU are the one being selfish. Get over yourself princess, it was ONLY through YOUR use of the door that has caused the failure. NOT that THEY arent doing thier part.
