I applied to a job posting on craigslist and got a response from James Morton (Hiring Manager) who instructed me to obtain a credit report in order to be able to apply. After submitting the information to thinkcreditreport.com , you are instructed to make a one time phone call to "verify" your identity. It is during this call that they rope you into another offer for a free trial of magazines - as a thank you for your business. When you try to call to cancel, no one answers the customer service phone number. Aslo, no one answers the customer service phone number for thinkcreditreport. If you do not cancel your membership within 7 days, they will charge you a monthly fee. This is a scam! Hopefully somebody will shut this company down.
