My Mother had water damage from broken ice maker.  I contacted American Model Insurance, they sent out a adjusrer the next day. The adjuster inspected the water damage and told to get three contractors and geta bid to repair the water damage.  The Water Damage repair company begin the next day.  American Model Insurance issue a check to Wells Fargo Bank. I went the next day to deposit the Insurance Check @ my mother`s branch (Wells Fargo Bank).  The Wells Fargo Bank mgr. told me I would have to mail the check to Wells Fargo (Loss Draft Deoartment ) N. Carolina.  The spoke with the Loss Darft Department on several occassions..they told me that they have recieved the Insurance Check but it would take at least 20 days for the check to clear, and when the check clears (Wells Fargo Loss Draft) will mail a check pay the contractor.  Well weeks went into months..I called the Loss draft Department at least five times a week only to get a recording and the Loss Draft Department agent would get back to me within the next 24 hrs.  Of course! no return calls from Loss Draft Department) I went to my local branch (Wells Fargo Bank) and complained why the Loss Draft Department has not return my calls. Mr. Lopez @ my local Wells Fargo Branch finally called me and stated the check was made out wrong from the insurance company, and I have to get another check made out only stating my mothers name and WElls Fargo Loss Draft Department).  The next week I finally met with the American Model Insurance and they issued my another check, again I mailed the check off to the Wells Fargo Loss Draft Department!
Again weeks went into months and no check issued to my mother.  Oh I forgot to mention I paid the contactor who repaired the water damage which was $15,000 dollars.  Bottom Line: never recieved any funds from Wells Fargo Loss Draft Department.  Sad but true my DEAR MOTHER passed away.  NOTE: SHE HAD A RESEVERE MORTAGE WITH WELLS FARGO BAK...MY MOTHER HAD A REVERSE MORTAGE WITH WELLS FARGO BANK..WELLS FARGO BANK DID NOT SPEND ANYTIME FORE CLOSING ON HER HOME !!!!!!!

BOTTOM LINE:  BEWARE WELLS FARGO BANK VERY DIS-HONEST..BEWARE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
