Offer a turnkey travel agency package. after much research & asking a lot of questions, I decide to pay the fee. What I get for that money is NOT what I was told I'd receive. I believe they misrepresent their product.

They got very nasty when I wanted a refund of my fee. Laura Hildebrandt made everything into a personal attack. (she needs a psychiatrist). Anyway, she agreed to a full refund, but I never got a credit on my credit card.

I began a dispute of the charge. I then received a check from them, stopped the dispute & thought all was well.

Got a note from the bank last week that Laura had stopped payment on $399.00. I've been struggling ever since for a refund. She's now put the onus on the credit card company & said to refuse the charge. All they had to do was credit my account in the first place & we'd have been done a month ago.

I filed a complaint with BBB, asked Carlson Wagonlit for help & have gotten nowhere. I want the world to know about their deceptive practices a their mean spirited attitude. As far as I'm concerned they stole my money. Next, I'll go to the news media in Myrtle beach - Laura might want to take her picture off of their website. . . . .she'll be famous soon. What a travesty!

Success at Outside agent link.com..... Great opportunity if you make it

I was shocked to see this on Rip off report about my host agency that I've been with for over 4 yrs. They are a reputable company that has a sound plan for people who want to enter into the travel business as a home based agent.

The old adage applies.... you get what you put into it. THey always pay commissions accurately and on time, have 24 hour cust service.... and are the nicest folks to work with... what more would one want.

It sounds like sour grapes from someone who couldn't run her own biz.....

If you want to become a home based agent, don't hesitate to check them out.

Renee Palumbo entered into a legally binding contract when she agreed to the terms of our business agreement. Our web site clearly outlines our business opportunity and for her to use the word "turnkey" when referring to a virtal, home-based opportunity is way off base. We have over 1000 agents who have found us to be the most up-front host agency and we stand by our integrity and honest business practices. We are proud to say that our integrity is the very reason we are so successful today. We realize the fact that when you're dealing with people that find you over the Internet, people like Renee Palumbo are bound to surface. The details of her account of her refund are askew at best. She declined her charge AFTER we issued her the $399 refund via check. That is why the stop-payment on the check was initiated...so we wouldn't end up paying this individual twice. Ultimately, Renee Palumbo received her refund despite the undisputed fact that she, not we, violted the terms of the legally binding contract she knowingly entered into when she partnered with our company. Because of the lack of apparent stability this individual displayed, we were more than happy to refund her and send her on our way while we continued to enjoy our success with the 1000+ agents we have who are happy and profitable in our partnership.

Both Carlson Wagonlit and Thomas Hogan Travel addressed her issue promptly. Thank you!
