Thrifty Auto Rental Hertz Rented auto on a daily basis, explaining that my personal vehicle was being repaired. Called every day to extend the rental. After the 7th day the rental was towed because they claim I didn't answer their call. They charged $309 and they want an additional $900 for unexplained fees, refusing to return my personal belongings until I pay them. I'm a college student with limited resources. St. Louis Missouri

 Thrifty Auto wants to charge an extra $900 for a 7 day rental. They already took $309 from my account. Although I called the office everyday to extend the rental, they towed the rental from my college campus with all my personal belongings. They claim the $900 and change is non negotiable fees and refuse to return my proprty until they get their money. The manager stated that she would keep my property and add $500 for not returning the keys to the rental. Not only did they leave me stranded, but the staff refused to put me through to the manager for two days, apparently they keep accruing fees until the keyd are returned and they get their money. At this point the amount is unknown.
