Tickets Authority Ticket Resellers Internet

Like many others who have reported being duped by online ticket resellers (e.g. Dream Team Tickets) my wife was conned by another online reseller: www.tickets-authority.com. She thought she was obtaining the tickets directly from the concert venue, but rather than ensuring that she was in fact on the venue's website she Googled the performance name and city and clicked on one of the sites that were shown. The landing page and URL for the ticket site were deceptive and gave the impression that this was an official ticketing site for the desired performance. After she purchased the extremely expensive tickets ($110 apiece for a set of 4, which ended up costing $600 including various fees and taxes), I discovered that she had actually purchased tickets through www.tickets-authority.com. 
 
Had she gone to the website (((competitor's link redacted)))) she would have been directed to Ticketmaster and could have bought the tickets for $65 each with a total purchase price of $350 including all service fees. Tickets-Authority charges an exorbitant premium on the tickets they re-sell and, in our case, caused us to pay more than 170% of their face value. We are so embarrassed at being ripped off by this company that I am footing the bill for my guests to attend the concert, so I don't have to explain why I'm trying to collect $150 from each of them for their $65 seats. Beware of this company's involvement in any ticket purchases you may make - you WILL be gouged, and they should be avoided at all costs.
