Tickets NOW, a ticket master company is riping buyers off.

Not only are they holding tickets form face value so they can charge outragious service fees, but then they charge you a Service Fee per ticket!

Dont get caught paying more than you though. Avoid this reseller.!

So you want 4 tickets for a payoff games. Tickets on Ticket master almost sold out on opening day,  but the Tickets NOW has tons.  the good seats in of course. Then they show you a sevice fee of $25.  but really it a service fee of $25 per ticket even though they are "reselling" a block of 4 ticket.  so that costs $100 just to buy from Tickets NOW, not including the ticket price.

add $150 per ticket, the inflated price of reseller, face value $105 seat at the playoff game would be $420 NOW cost  $728.

they make $25 service fee. $45 over face value fee,     +++++ the discount they get for being ticket master selling the orginal tickets to begin with. remberthis is  PER TICKET.

No wonder there are lots of empty seats t the playoffs. who cold possible afford to go!  -  what a rip off.

You maybe correct in your assessment of TicketsNow, but as you stated, their intentions (although printed in the small print) are indeed posted for ALL to read, if one takes the time to read the rather lengthy terms of agreement posted.

I will say this to you in reply to your rebuttal. Tickets Now sales practices should be posted right up front, on their home page and in big enough writing that your average user will be able to see and understand just what it is they are getting themselves into. Selling second hand tickets is not and should not give Tickets Now cartblanch to charge whatever and that Tickets Now should have some ethics within their own company as to how much an outside vendor is allowed to charge, not to mention the service fees Tickets Now charges.

I understand that it is every companies intent to make money, but when you "rip off" consumers to the extent that Tickets Now does, (regardless of the location that their "Terms of Agreement" and were it is posted), this is morally and ethically wrong. I would really like to hear your "explaination" on how it is justified that a consumer should pay Tickets Now $674 dollars for $250 dollar tickets??

Oh, and as far as you requesting the person to "remove" their complaint, I ask you why? That consumer is just trying to warn other consumers (like I did on this site) that Tickets Now is not what it appears to be up front. And there is certainly nothing wrong with warning your fellow consumer that the icing on the cake of Tickets Now is miss leading at best.

An Obvious Solution To Your Problem

AUTHOR: MissP - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, March 15, 2012

I have purchased tickets from Resale Markets for many years now and when I came across your Ripoff Report I was not surprised by your complaint against Ticketsnow. Unfortunately, as I read your report I came to notice similarities between your complaint, and every other upset customers complaint. That TicketsNow does not advise its customers the details of their charges, and the details about their company.

This however, is entirely false. The problem with consumers who purchase tickets from TicketsNow is that they do not read the terms and conditions because they generally assume that all terms and conditions are going to be the same. And while the terms and conditions on this website are considered I suppose... college grade:  they're really quite basic. This company hides nothing from the consumer, everything is written out for everyone to see.

Tickets are sold through their company and not by their company for a resale price, which of course means Ticketsnow is not aware of the face value because they're not the ones selling them. Every order is going to have a service charge that is a price per ticket that their company makes because of the fact that tickets are not sold by them. And of course, tickets need to be acquired before the purchase has been made and therefore are not a guarantee until tickets have been confirmed.

I am confused as to why you did not read this - or rather why most people would not read this information. If you went to a car dealer ship to buy a car and the company told you that the cars were being sold for a price that is above face value by another party and that there is also a fee to buy through them, does that put that dealership at fault because you still bought the product? To say so would be incorrect.

In the case of your report/complaint - I feel you should retract it. I buy tickets from this company all the time and you're being in a hurry to purchase tickets before knowing what you were buying into should not count against them. Sadly, they're one of the FEW companies I have come across that don't rob me.

Unlike Ebay,  or Craigslist who don't guarantee my tickets. With that being said, thank you for hearing my opinion. Best regards to you.
