I ordered 4 theater tickets on www.ticketsmyway.com for a total of $823. Tickets never showed up. Called customer service and actually spoke to someone who said they would send them right out. I live in AZ and was traveling to New York City for the show. I kept calling, left messages (none ever returned), so since I was leaving and had no tickets, went online to their web site and cancelled the order.
Figured it was done until today, when I rec'd a Fedex letter signed by Andrew Sims saying they are sueing me in small claims court in Clark County, Nevada for $987 (including "penalty fees"). I love the part where it says:
"Upon payment a waiver of financial responsibility will be sent to you. This will free you from any further responsibility. Thank you for your prompt compliance."
What an idiot. The guys name is ANDREW SIMS - dba Event Tickets, LLC, and Ticketsmyway.com -- Phone 702-589-5162 (which they don't answer either).
I called the Attorney General's office in Nevada and asked if they had any other complaints:
2 for Events, LLC, and 40 for ticketsmyway.com!!!
Consumer affairs: 800-326-5202 (or 702-486-7355)
I called the Nevada Better Business Bureau and was told their business license for ticketsmy way.com has been cancelled (presumably by the state or County), but the web site is still up. BBB complaint reports:
>99 for Events, LLC and over 347 for ticketsmyway.com!!!!

It is difficult to believe this guy is still operating, but does seem so.
