Tilia, Aka Foodsaver By Tilia ripoff misleading advertising infomercials San Francisco Nationwide

The Foodsaver 500....in stores for 199.00 but if you order now we will give you 4 easy pmts of 33.33. Order now and we will even forget about one payment" so goes the infomercial. I decided to purchase one of these units. They make a vague attempt to vacuum package food for storage. I called the toll free number. I was told that additional machines would cost me 79.95 each. Like an idiot, I ordered three. Hey maybe they would make a nice gift! Imagine my chagrin when my credit card was socked over 300.00 for the first payment! To add to my frustration, I was in Target, and there was the Foodsaver 800, yes 800, for 99.99.

The ad said you could not get their price in stores. They were correct. Only on the Tilia Foodsaver Infomercial do you get the lesser machine for more money. They also charged me about 100.00 shipping. UPS said acording to the tracking number the charges was 22.40. Anyway shame on me...I fell for a less than honest, in my opinion, deal. Friends, if you must buy one of these, Target and many other kitchen outlets sell the same or better brands of these for less money!!!

Please do not fall for the Tilia Infomercial coming to a TV station near you. There customer service dept as much as told me...well you are correct. We did say you couldnt buy the 500 for the same price in the store. You cant...it cost less in the store. Please, when you see the foodsaver By Tilia, walk on by....hold onto your credit card...and you will be a better person for it!!!
