Time Auto Sales is the Biggest Rip Off. I was victim of credit fraud a few years ago which screwed my credit so I had to go to Time Auto. I got approved quick.
1 week after buying my car, the starter went out.
3 months later the brakes went out, 1 month after that, they told me there was a fuel line leak, 2 weeks after that my AC went out and to top it all off in December my Transmission went out
I couldn't get to work bc my car was broken and I work 30 minutes away. On top of that I came down with a serious case of pnemonia and was bed ridden for 2 weeks. My payment was due on the 8th of January.. they came and repo'd my car on the 24th of January sometime in the night. Now they won't give me my car back unless I pay about $1500 in repo fees and impoundment fees... for a car payment that was 2 weeks late.
I am livid.
Now they are trying to pressure me to let them keep the repo and not hold them responsible as they won't hold me responsible to fix it if I attempt to pay it off....
Whatever, I'm looking for a lawyer and a loophole in my contract and taking them to court.

You have no case

Ok, you had bad credit, no matter what the circumstances, and you bought at a junk car lot. You didn't take the car to have it checked out, you just bought the thing. It had problems. Then you got sick, etc etc etc...
None of this is the dealer's fault or the finance company's fault. All of it is your fault unfortunately. So why are you suing? All you would be doing is throwing away more of your hard-earned money for nothing. You have absolutely no case, there is no loop-hole in the contract.
You signed a contract, promising to pay x amount of dollars a month. You failed to do that, and they repoed your car. If you read your contract, it states that they can repo the car at anytime if you are late on your payment. Ya, 14 days doesn't seem all that bad, but consider who you are dealing with...They are worried about their collateral. They don't care why you are late, in their eyes they just see another dead-beat loser who doesn't pay their bills on time.
Get another car quickly before they report the repo on your credit.
