Sean Austin along with this children, his brother and anyone else in his family without an ethical bone should be avoided by ALL CONSUMERS!!!!

Timeshare Advocacy is an oxy-moron (think of thunderous silence or 2 other words that dont go together!). They charged my 81 year old grandmother who had dementia (and they knew she had dementia b/c I told them when they first called her so they waited to call back another time when i was not present and stole payment over the phone). Even 2 other lady friends from my grams chruch, who originally had either their children or grandchildren locate a company making claims TAI does; had in excess of $4,500 stolen from them.

Money Back Guarantee!! JOKE!!!! once they can't cancel your timeshare...mark my words your phone will ring with Sean or one of his criminal relatives will call you....tell you...we are going to refer your case to our in house counsel in lieu of returning your money. DO NOT fall for that and GET YOUR $$ back....All and I mean ALL their lawyer does is send a letter and have a paralegal make 1 just 1 phone call and then they are done...

Guess what? Then you still have your timeshare and your money is gone!!!

Not to mention...I did some research and found out Sean used to sell timeshares....now he wants to cancel them? Well I guess if you can't SELL, SCAM....Its the TAI way....

Signed,

Very Upset Son

BBB revoked accreditation; had a C- rating

AUTHOR: Savvy consumer - (USA)

POSTED: Tuesday, June 09, 2015

BBB Accreditation - On 05/21/2015 this company's accreditation in BBB was revoked by BBB's Board of Directors due to failure to eliminate the underlying cause of complaints on file with the BBB. Businesses are under no obligation to seek BBB accreditation, and some businesses are not accredited because they have not sought BBB accreditation. To be accredited by BBB, a business must apply for accreditation and BBB must determine that the business meets BBB accreditation standards, which include a commitment to make a good faith effort to resolve any consumer complaints. BBB Accredited Businesses must pay a fee for accreditation review/monitoring and for support of BBB services to the public." - See more at: http://www.bbb.org/nashville/business-reviews/timeshare-advocates/timeshare-advocacy-international-in-mount-juliet-tn-37042719#sthash.ITgIYx3u.dpuf

Setting the Story Straight

AUTHOR: SeanAustin - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, August 13, 2014

First and foremost we have investigated this complaint and have concluded that this is not a valid complaint. The complaintant states that we ripped off his grandmother and states that TAI also ripped off 2 other elderly people from his grandmother's church, but the complaintant signs his complaint "very upset son". We have been in business since January of 2009, over 5 years, and we have every client we have helped in our data base, and nowhere can we cross reference this senario. Additionally, we never work with anyone besides the client. If this where a valid we would have either rectified the problem or refunded this individual. The concerning part is that the complaintant states that his grandmother has dementia and he was communicating with TAI on her behalf. TAI does not operate in this fashion. We only work with the timeshare owner. If the owner cannot represent themselves we will not take their case. We believe this is clearly an attempt to tarnish our reputation. We are an accredited BBB business with an A- rating. We are also a member of the Mount Juliet Chamber of Commerce, and A rated with the Online Business Bureau.

Timeshare Advocates

AUTHOR: DeborahM - ()

POSTED: Tuesday, May 20, 2014

Eventually, the client can no longer reach the timeshare advocates company. They try by phone and email with no response. Sometimes, they even mail letters to the cancellation company and the letter is returned undeliverable. Later, they find out that the company has gone bankrupt. Having filed for bankruptcy, the company no longer has any financial obligation to pay back the upfront fees to the clients, even though there was the promise of a money back guarantee. This process occurs over and over again with all types of companies that charge upfront fees for rentals, resales and cancellation. Unfortunately, many timeshare owners are so desperate to get rid of their timeshare contract, that they make several attempts to cancel using one of these companies, hoping that they will eventually get the results they desire.

What have you done to resolve your issues with TAI?

AUTHOR: Bosco - ()

POSTED: Monday, May 19, 2014

Hello very upset son,

Did TAI ever respond to you about your complaints?  Have you expressed your concerns to the Better Business Bureau?  I think TAI's BBB rating is pretty good (A minus I believe).  There are some complaints, but most of them seem to have been resolved by TAI.  Perhaps the BBB would be a good avenue to help you resolve this problem?
