We got a call from this company. They had buyers ready to buy our Royal Elite timeshare. We paid an upfront fee of $598 expecting to hear in the next day or so that our timeshare had been sold. So far, we have not received on phone call back. When we call them, they are not available to talk. Please check out these "people" thoroughly before giving them any money. They are very convincing. There should be a law that the money should be returned since they represented themselves in so many ways

The company had a good pitch, rent your timeshare and get paid for it for the cost of a listing fee of $600. Money back guaranteed if it's not rented within 6 months. All I had to do was sign a contract and verbally agree to do so. Completed everything in April and now it's October and no calls ever! The first time I called it was to confirm that they received everything that they needed, in April and they said yes. The second time I called them in August, to check the status of my listing, I lowered the rental price when I didn't have to but I thought it would help it sell faster. October rolls in and I called to let them know that I want my full refund because it's been six months and no one has ever called interested to rent! The phone girl was rude, she doesn't know how to handle unsatisfied customers, hung up on me! I called to speak with her superior and she had no resolution for me. I am very dissatisfied, angry, and feel scammed because they said they can't help me. Now they are saying they never received my letter of authorization which I sent in everything they mailed me AND called to make sure if there was anything I needed to do, and they said no! So what do they expect, to have a happy customer? Of course I was angry and gave them a piece of my mind. It's obvious they don't work for a reputable company because they didn't know how to handle the situation and said they can't help me, period. Do yourself a favor and do not do business with them. I checked out your company with the BBB like stated in your rebuttal.  Your company IS NOT rated an A, IT IS RATED A F...   This companies accreditation with the BBB was revoked on 8/19/09.  At that time there were 24 complaints file against Timeshare rent or sell, also known as Vacation Tree.  Luckily I checked this out before sending any money.

I'm writing to rebut the rebuttal written by George58, who, I assume is somehow affiliatated with the company timeshareforrentorsell.com.  My wife and I were also victims of this company's unscrupulous business practices.  It started with several phone messages left by company representatives claiming to be able to immediately rent our timeshare.  We ignored several of these messages before finally calling and investigating.  We spoke with a representative named "Jason", who by the way, just happened to conveniently leave the company just prior to our complaint.  Jason assured us that we would be able to rent our timeshare immediately and that within 2 weeks would receive a check for $9,000.  He also told us that he had immediate buyers for our timeshare which he claimed would sell for $30,000.  He said that within 24 hours we would be sent a contract essentially stating what he had stated verbally on the phone.  After speaking with him on the phone we agreed to pay their fee and charged it to our American Express card. 
The contract wasn't faxed to us until 5 days after we spoke with Jason on the phone.  The contract was a joke.  It made all kinds of disclaimers about things that might have been said by company representatives.  There were other terms and conditions that directly contradicted the verbal representations made by Jason, the company representative.  We attempted to contact Jason via phone for several days with no success.  Finally, a week later, another company representative informed us that Jason had left the company to "pursure other career opportunities".  No question in our mind that this company employs unscrupulous business practices and for George58 to blame that on untrained and inexperienced employees is just a joke.  I have no doubt that those representations were purposely made and with managements total support and backing.
The thing I would really like to draw readers' attention to is the part of George's rebuttal where he suggests that the company prides itself on it's A- rating by the San Diego Better Business Bureau and then proceeds to make it convenient for readers to find their way to the San Diego Better Business Bureau website so they can read all of the good reports.   Well, what might have been an A- rating back in July of 2009 is now an "F" rating (effective 8/19/09.  I've been in touch with the San Diego Better Business Bureau and learned that they have withdrawn their accreditation from this company because of the number of unanswered complaints since July 2009 and the fact that the company now refuses to even respond to any complaint forwarded from the BBB.  Check it out for yourselves....go to  (((Redacted))) and do a search on "timesharerentorsell.com"....it's all there in black and white.
At the present time we are fighting the charges on our Amex account with the help of the folks at American Express.  We have forwarded all of our complaints as well as any other documented complaints we can find to the dispute resolution department of AMEX.  If necessary, I am prepared to take legal action to recover my cost and at this point in time I don't care if it cost twice as much in legal fees just to make a point.   I even wrote a personal letter to Robert Sussman, Chief Operating Officer of Timesharerentorsell.com to complain about his company's practices and never received a response from the guy.  I also filed a complaint with the California Attorney General who was kind enough to respond to my inquiry.  I'm not prepared to disclose the nature of their response but it was positive.
