I was contacted by Timeshare Savings Network / Friendly Lenders / First Freedom Mortgage Group, Inc. to sell and rent my timeshare in Florida. $684 was charged to my VISA card. I was told that my money was refundable if it didn't sell in 1 year. This information was left out when a second person came on the phone to confirm the terms of the contract.
I brought it to her attention, she put me on hold, came back and said that I was correct. When I received my contract in mail, it said that I understood that my money was nonrefundable. I refused to sign the contract and called the company. They said that they would add that to the contract and send it to me.
After about 10 days and no contract, I tried to call them. No one answers the phone and the number to Ralph Deluca at Friendly Lenders has been disconnected. I contacted VISA and told them to consider this a fraudalent charge. Beware of anyone calling you from any of these companies!!
