Timesharescape "Escape From Your Timeshare Forever" they said. That was almost a year ago and still nothing. Moorpark, California

Met with representatives of Timesharescape on April 18th, 2010. The company had been in business since 2002 and had good rating with the Better Business Bureau. We paid them nearly $5,000 to take a couple of timeshares in Colorado off our hands. They told us it would take anywhere from 3 to 4 months, depending on how the timeshare company worked with their transfer company. We rec'd papers to sign from a third party transfer company hired by Timesharescape to do all necessary paperwork. In early August, we rec'd a letter from the third party transfer company that they were no longer working for Timesharescape as they hadn't been paid by them.

We then disputed our credit card charge and lost that, as the contract we signed with Timesharescape did not mention any timeframe, other than the 3 day recinsion period. I then contacted Timesharescape several times by phone, left messages to return my call, but that was never done. I finally emailed an assistant who gave me the name and address of another transfer company they were working with. I waited several weeks before calling this company, only to hear they did not have a contract with Timesharescape for anything. I don't expect anything else to happen, unless maybe the receipt of a Notice of Bankruptcy from Timesharescape.
