Timothy Helser, Amy Helser Posed as a K-9 Police Officer working on Stacy Peterson Case, Theft of Dog Brookville Ohio

Timothy Helser of Brookville, Ohio came to Chicago, IL and represented himself as a K-9 Police Officer, flashing a badge. He stated he had Search and Rescue dogs and he was in the Bolingbrook and Chicago area searching for Stacy Peterson. He stated he was hired by Stacy Peterson's mother.

He took a dog, said he would be back in Chicago to return her in 7 days, and then would not return her.

The police in Brookville, Ohio told me I am the FIFTH person to come to his town with a similar situation of a stolen dog. He refused to give the dog back, and emailed and called to extort $3,000 for safe return of the dog.

He has many unregistered dogs in his home, without rabies vaccines, mostly attack-trained German Shepherds, several of which are dangerous dogs that cannot even be called off on command once they attack. He also has young children around those dogs in his home. He has been arrested in his town before for impersonating an officer, and charged with a misdemeanor.

We've come to find out he has done this to many people, and will continue to do it, making a career of extortion, personal harassment, and false pretenses.
