after paying 5000.00 back on a four thousand dollar loan i told them im not paying anything else.

- Yea nice try.  Just how did you come up with this arbitrary amount?  Did the agreement you signed stated that after you pay them back $5,000 you didn't owe anymore?

they tell me i still have intrest to pay now im in default so i go into the office and they want 2000.00 more

- Whoops..Guess not...Strike 1

dont worry they say! just give us 200 monthly well never tow your car as long as you pay us monthly your loan is default and its not drawing any intrest

-  You of course got that in writing right?  You of course asked them how many months you would have to pay them $200?  You of course asked them just how long you will be in default?  Oh you didn't...Strike 2

well ive payed 1600.00 more total dollars and they picked my car up yesterday

- So you have gone 8 months and not once asked them what your balance was to make sure you are paying down the loan?  Strike 3...your out.

What is the point of this?  Title Loans are perhaps the worst loan you can get.  Not only do you pay "Payday" type interest rates, but they also hold the title to your car and can reposess it.  Oh and it is 100% legal.  The problem with this is that you had no problem when you got the loan.  The only time you had a problem is when you no longer wanted to live up to your end of the agreement, where just on your own you decided that they got enough money.  Just something to think about as to why you are with a Sub-Prime lender and unless you change your attitude while you probably will be for quite some time to come.
