TJ Telemarketing is a very bad company and I will tell you why, being a licensed annuity and insurance salesman, my entire livelihood is based on meeting new people who are interested in annuities or insurance. This being the
case, I searched for a company that could provide me with leads based on these platforms. I needed a company that could set up appointments for me so I decided to hire this company. After discussing my requirements, we conclude
that I should pay $800 for them to set up 20 appointments. Once I paid the upfront amount, their service started becoming horrible. I could not believe it was the same company I had just negotiated the contract with a little while
back. My complaints in form of emails went unanswered or were replied using an automated system. The valid responses I got were based on promises that never materialized.

When I was going through their website, I was of the understanding TJTelemarketing would provide the best quality appointments. This meant the appointments were with real people who have a genuine interest in the product
you are selling. The website clearly stated that they would provide such appointments and would make sure anyone who is interested gets the best service. However, the experience I had with the company was the direct opposite. The first fifteen appointments I got from the company did not meet my requirements. Out of the fifteen, only two showed some interest in discussing what I had to offer. This made me come up with a list of complaint that I made with regards to their account manager.

According to the contract that we agreed on, they supposed to schedule four appointments for me on a weekly basis. However, they only managed to schedule two or three. In some cases, I would go a whole week without appointments. Secondly, TJ Telemarketing promises to stay within the geographical area agreed upon when they are scheduling appointments. Ispecified a particular geographical area that was within 20 miles of my home. On some occasions, they scheduled appointments that were around 100 miles from my home.  Additionally, there were a good number of occasions where the person who I went to see insisted they had not scheduled any appointment. They also said no one had called them to make an appointment.

In some cases, when I arrived for an appointment, I was told that they expected someone else. On inquiring, most of the people claimed that they were told I was a representative of the company that they did business with. Since
it was not true, I concluded that the clients were given this false information so that they would agree to the appointment. Another surprising thing was that sometimes I would arrive for an appointment and the client would refuse to see me. The ones who were willing to state their reason said they were not interested in my products, they would not see me at all and they had only agreed to the appointments as a result of pressure from the callers. I have asked for refund and never get it.

My suggestion Never do business with TJ Telemarketing, they are SCAM
and Ripoff.

I went to google to search for TJ telemarketings website to check the recent packages TJ is offering, as it is time to order more, and I came across this bogus complaint. I spent the time to create an account because I was appalled that someone would go to such lengths to discredit an amazing company.

I have used TJ Telemarketing (after a very hesitant start as I've been burned by many) exclusively for about 4 years. They are not only extremely qualified leads but the owners and staff always make themselves available for feedback and continually go above and beyond to correct any leads that are not up to par (duplicates, no phone number, etc.).

Anyone in this business knows that there is never going to be a 100% success rate on leads. Timing is everything... Don't blame TJ because a lead they generated gave you attitude when you called; the attitude may have been triggered by you.

I won't get into all the blantant lies stated in the original posters complaint but two are just screaming at me.

1) They have never offered to schedule appointments.

2) Nothing is 'automated' about their correspondence with their clients. I will admit that I can be a pain in the backside at times, constantly changing packages, lead topics (life, financial, etc.) and the areas they call. They respond within an hour or two by email and when I call, an owner or manager is ALWAYS available. Their flexibility and customer service is excellent.

Anyone swayed by the original complaint is doing themselves and their business a great disservice. TJ Telemarketing is an asset to any insurance or financial business.

Time to order my next batch of leads from TJ!

#1 REBUTTAL Owner of company

Why would someone do this?

AUTHOR: Paul Schiedler - (United States of America)

I think it is absolutely ridiculous I have to defend my company against such obvious false claims, but honestly there are people out there looking up our company that know little about us that may think this review holds water.  So in a bid for self-preservation I'll take the blow to my ego and address this.

TJ Telemarketing does not set appointments.  TJ Telemarketing has an A+ grade with the BBB.  Chuck and Paul are the only people that do sales or customer service at TJ Telemarketing.  These facts are easy to verify by simply reading our website, or searching the BBB.

I invite the author to present a shred of evidence that he used my company.  It is clear to me that he has not.

I can point out several other blatant issues, but basically this "review" is nothing but lies.  We figure some competitor of ours is paying someone to do this. I am Paul Schiedler, owner of TJ Telemarketing.  My phone number is 888-802-6998.  My email address is pauls@tjtelemarketing.com.  Please contact me anytime.
