Trilegent charged my Chase Credit card on 2 occassions for services that I never requested. I had never even heard of this company before now.
The first time I was charged for their TravelersAdvantage services.
The second time I was charged for the HealthSaver services. I don't even know what these services are comprised of. This started happening after my Wamu MC account was changed to Chase MC.
The first time, I called the MC company and the charge was removed. About two months later, I noticed the charge for HealthSaver. This time I called up Chase, disputed the charge and canceled my Chase MC. I plan on canceling all my Chase accounts and moving them to Wells Fargo.
This is a scam. I can see that others have also complained about this company. Trilegiant should be driven out of business and other businesses associated with this scam should be fined. All legitimate Internet businesses should be concerned with these types of scams, as they will eventually be impacted.
The charge was for $99, and I'm not sure if Chase will refund my money at this time. They said they will process my complaint.

TLG (Affinion Group) CEO's salary (Nathaniel J. Lipman) started at $450,000 a year (while customers are being scammed)

Here' s the "EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT" which I found publicly posted online dated as of October 17, 2005, between AFFINION GROUP, INC. and Nathaniel J. Lipman, Affinion Group's (TLG's) President and CEO.
This was the salary back in 2005. Just imagine what this guy is making when you add in raises and bonuses and perks. All that while that continue to RIP PEOPLE OFF!
They already had a lawsuit filed against them back in 2004 and had to pay over $6 million for the same type of scam they are running today. They simply paid the settlement, changed their company name, and went on ripping people off.
Hey, when you make billions, what's a few mill?
People, we must threaten to cancel accounts with all of their affiliates, such as 1800Flowers... but there are SO many others... these guys are like an out of control virus. Look on their website at how many places they have infected:
This is just one of many of their websites:

Also, call them to cancel your account, then double and triple check they are not continually charging your card by looking on your statement for TLGLivWell or other bogus charges.
Also, make your bank and credit card company aware and call them back to let them know you are filing complaints with the BBB and local Attorney General.
