I canceled my auto insurance with The Hartford in either 11/08 or 12/08.  Their service rep mentioned I might be charged a fee for canceling in mid-policy.  No amount was given to me, and time passed with no word from The Hartford regarding any fee for early cancellation.

On 09/10/2009 the amount of $129.99 was charged to my Wachovia account causing an overdraft to kick in.  I had pretty much closed that account leaving only a couple dollars in it, so I knew not to ever use the debit card or checks on that particular account.  When I received the overdraft notice, I was immediately alarmed.  It had been months since I had used the account.  I called the Wachovia office that evening and spoke with a customer service agent who forwarded the call to their fraud department.

When the fraud agent gave me the company name receiving the $129.99, I immediately went on-line to investigate just who they were.  The warning from Ripoff Report was the first thing I noticed.  Quickly reading the complaints, I realized that I, too, had become a victim of The Hartford or someone affiliated with them known as TLG*JUSTFORME.

Wachovia has corrected the error and credited my account the debit and fees, but this is clearly a network of thieves colluding with The Hartford or someone in their employ.
