I am a former employee of TMC Publishing and feel morally compelled to expose TMC Publishing's deceptive billing and sales practices and the extreme greed and arrogance of TMC's owner, Tom Kruse.
TMC Publishing sells a magazine subscription package of five magazine subscriptions for five years of service for $39.95 - $49.95 per month for 26 months. The cost of these magazines to TMC is less than $100 while the customer pays a total of up to $1200 for this "service". If a customer calls asking to cancel, TMC will attempt to charge a $150 "cancellation fee" to cover processing fees. This is totally bogus as TMC never orders the magazines until after the customer makes a minimum of three payments. Ultimately, TMC makes upward of $300.00 per customer without ever ordering any magazines for the customer.
The owner, Tom Kruse, makes over $100,000 a month, drives a $100,000 Maserati and lives in a 20,000 sq foot mansion in the foothills of Denver, yet complains about refunding a single $39.95 payment to a 70 year old widow, living on social security, who believes their credit and good name will be tarnished by TMC if they refuse to pay.

Hi - I'm the original poster of this Ripoff Report and I'd like to retract the statements I originally made.
TMC Publishing IS a reputable company that has only its customer's best interests in mind. It has a generous cancellation and refund policy and has never misled, lied, or acted inappropriately in ANY of its business dealings.
I posted the original report in extreme anger at TMC Publishing's owner because of a dispute unrelated to TMC Publishing. I was wrong to post it and I apologize for my behavior and the posting's content.

Ask for a refund from tmc or contact your state attorney general. Search your local bbb website for more information. Change or cancel your credit card or checking account if you are a victim. TMC cannot hurt your credit and does not report to any credit reporting agencies. If you ever get a call from a collection agency - tell them to never call you again.

You may contact your state's attorney general to file a complaint about TMC and request a full refund. TMC's policy is to refund every customer who has filed a complaint with an attorney general, ftc.gov, or private attorney. Call your attorney general now and get your money back!
