 Program directors., coaches and parents, please take heed to this warning and STAY AWAY from TNC Nationals. These people are very unprofessional and dishonest and came to Atlanta the weekend of 6/29/16 and basically stole a lot of money from a lot of different teams. They first of all charged one of the highest basketball tournament registration fees and guest entry fees we've seen all year, then made promises they did not keep. Teams traveled to this tournament from all over the country and ended up having to play on kiddie sized half courts, the gyms did not have any air conditioning, no concessions or water fountains available for the players or guests. Next the scheduling was a joke to say the least. No age verification documents were reviewed so teams were able to load their rosters up with upperclassmen and in some cases post grad players. We were also promised a minimum amount games which we did not get, the referees were so frustrated, they began to walk out the gyms! This was terrible and a big waste of time and money. I really felt bad for the teams that traveled from out of state. The website was professionally done so we trusted this organization. He tournament started on Saturday and by Sunday morning the tournament director had stopped answering any calls or texts. After pressuring the representative that was on site, he confessed that he was just a subcontractor that was hired to help with the tournament. Payment was requested to be paid in cash upon arrival and we did get a receipt but that is one way they prevented us from having the ability to protect ourselves and stopping payment. Save your money and your players the heart break and STAY AWAY!
