TNT property management is a property management company located in Prescott, AZ that truly depends on unethical and unprofessional business practices to make their business operations run from day to day. A quick internet search of their company populates numerous reviews all stating the same issues "our full deposit was taken and we were charged outrageous number of hours for cleaning, landscaping or additional services"

To get to the real dirt, the way TNT does this is they allow their contracted cleaning or landscaping crews to charge hours that far exceed what the norm should be and pocket the profit. The most common complaint is people receiving invoices for 10 hours of cleaning that consisted of "spot wipe downs" throughout the house at prices ranging from $25 to $35 an hour. There is no heavy duty steaming and cleaning, no words like elbow grease or scrubbing.. but only "spot wipe downs". Now to go into this further, how can a professional cleaning company realistically charge someone for 10 hours of spot wipe downs for a 3 bedroom empty house that is less than 1500 square feet. In my personal case the house was professionally cleaned before their crews ever came with the sole intent of us being able to avoid a situation just like this. However, there was no avoiding because 2 weeks after moving out, TNT sent the remainder of our $1300 deposit with $1000 missing due to a mixture of cleaning fees and landscaping fees. To be exact 10 hours of cleaning (all spot wipe downs) and also 10 hours of landscaping which consisted of pulling some weeds in the back yard and spraying. After seeing this bill we contacted 3 landscaping companies that frequent the area and were told that even a complete remodel of the size of yards that are generally found in the neighborhood never took more than on average 5 hours so no real answer could be given on how pulling some weeds and spraying a yard could take 10 hours. It is easy to see that they do a blanket charge of 10 hours for everything at a premium price and wait for either the charges to be contested or to threaten you through negative credit and negative renters history feedback.

TNT banks on the fact that individuals will not want to go to court or have credit negatively impacted over a sum of dollars around or less than $1000 so it is a practice that has become common throughout their business and as I mentioned earlier a quick search fields results showing exactly this, even to a point where the company had apparently received so many bad reviews in the early 2000's that they changed names.

The fact that TNT is located in such a beautiful and history rich city like Prescott but is still being allowed to operate and take advantage of individuals, mostly made up of elderly and students attending the local schools, is sad, unethical and unprofessional. The move out manager Lisa and her staff should be considered the equivalent of highway robbers and in today’s world of real information real time, it is my hope that this report not only helps people in the future avoid the same situation but also that someone with the professionalism and expertise to stand up to a dirty business can come in and put these people out of the business of taking advantage of college students and the elderly retired people that move to Prescott to enjoy the remainder of their lives. It is truly disheartening to think about how a local business can take advantage of the not only the future of our country (those getting an education to better themselves and their futures), but also take advantage of those that enabled us to get where we are today (the elderly and retired).
