Responded to a Craig's List ad "TV for sale". Was told seller lived in UK but could use neutral 3rd party to ship it to USA. Was given reference to TNT.com, a real shipping company. Then was sent info about TV being at a TNT office in England including photos and a tracking number which "worked" on the unitedkingdom-TNT.com website, and was instructed to send $500 by Western Union to a Jayson Alexonis.
The tracking number did not, however, work on the TNT.com website. A Whois.com search shows that the "unitedkingdom-TNT.com" site is registered to a guy in Oklahoma who is mimicking a real company to get people to send money. this is a very complex website and looks convincing.
A Google search for TNT shipping mentioned this scam as well.
