To Web AccessZZ - Integretel Ripoff, Charged $40.00 for 2 min download I didnt make! Internet

I got a bill from my phone company with a charged from Integretel for $40.00 for 2 mins. I was confused because the number was a 900 number which I never dial. I dialed the number it gave my for customer service to find a guy who wanted to talk very technical terms with me. It seems that after everything I said he would read from a computer screen discribing how I was downloading software from the internet.

I told him that I did no such thing and asked for the charge to be taken off. He said that (in technical words) that he did not believe me and would not take it off.

I persisted and he agreed that his company would pay 50% of the bill if I agreed to pay the other 50%. I told him in a very angry voice that I would do no such thing and demanded to have the charge taken off.

Once again he went into technical words. I told him that I was still confused and asked if it had been taken off. He said that it had been, but would take 1 or even 2 "cycles" for it to come completly off and to subtract the $40.00 from my phone bill.

What the heck are these guys trying to get away with? Trying to annoy you to the point where you will agree to pay 50% fo the bill just to settle the issue. By the way they have it being recorded so if you say you will pay the 50% your stuck.

Im a recently married college student. I dont need companies trying to cheat me out of my hard earn money.
