Todays Escapes AKA Leisure Savings CL Unauthorized Debit to My Checking Account Illinois

I recieved an unauthorized debit on my checking account for $19.95. The description on my account was "Leisure Savings CL" and their phone number - 800-550-4728. State was listed as IL 085532. When I called the number they answered "Today's Escapes".

I called the company and they said that I had agreed to this "one-month free membership" then charges would be made. they stated I agreed to this when I had ordered something else over the phone from an informercial. I did place the infomerical order, but did not agree to this other membership.

They stated they would reverse the charges with my bank within 2 days and cancelled the memberhsip. I notified my bank and cancelled my debit card to assure no further charges will be made. Since I closed the debit card number, the refund request will be sent back to this company and they will have to issue a check for the refund.

What a pain in the butt!!
