Today's Furniture Take Your Money Upfront, Don't Give You What You Paid For Woodbridge Virginia

My boyfriend and I just moved to DC and had a friends car for a couple days. We needed a new couch so we went to Virginia to try and find one. My cousins used to live in Alexandria and I remembered we went to the Potomac Mills Mall a couple times. Seeing as Potmoac Mills Mall is owned by Simon Malls, we thought that the mall only allowed legitimate businesses into their facility. WRONG.

We walked into Today's Furniture and found a couch that we both immediately liked. We looked around at other stores, but nothing stood out to us as much as the couch from Today's Furniture. We went back to the store and bought the couch. A sectional sleeper from Ashley Direct.

We paid for the couch and asked for it to be delivered. Since the couch wasn't in stock he said we could get it shipped. We were going to away for the 4th so we asked if it could be shipped within the next couple of days and the guy working told us to call back tomorrow because he would have to check.

The next day we called, many times, and finally he picked up the phone. I think it was like 8th or 9th try. He said it couldn't be delivered until the 8th and to call on the 7th to confirm the delivery time. We went to the Carolina's for the 4th of July and returned on the 7th. We called multiple times and got no response. We left voicemails and eventually his mailbox was full.

After that we called the management office. They said they couldn't do anything to help us and hinted that they'd received similar calls from other people about the same situation. They suggested we call our credit card company and file a report with the Better Business Bureau. We did both and we are still waiting for the 6-8 week investigation period before we see what happens.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. They will take your money and not give you your furniture.
