Today's Growth Consultant markets "expert websites". They guarantee a return on your initial investment equal to that investment amount on an annualized basis, within two years of launching the expert website. You must provide all of the expert content to the site. They also provide a guarantee that if you are not satisfied after the two year period that they will buy the site back for your investment amount.
Our small business invested $43,000 and never saw $1 in return on our investment. After committing hundreds of hours and writing over 200 articles of expert content we were given nothing but excuses as to why the site produced no income. When we exercised our contractual right to have our $43,000 returned, they had a lawyer manufacture bogus loopholes to avoid paying any money back.
As far as our company is concerned, TGC made totally false claims, missed deadlines, and produced no return on investment. We hope that reporting this fraudulent experience will keep other businesses or individuals from being ripped off as we were.

How to find good web designers

While I do not know the specifics of your situtation, I wanted to add a few comments in general for companies looking to hire web designers and things to look for.
Do you homework before speaking with anyone. You don’t need to be an expert – after all, you’re hiring help, because you’re not – but you need to know enough to know what you’re hearing. If you are uncertain of your own ability to keep on top of what’s going on, get a friend with at least basic web knowledge to help you locate, interview and assess candidates.
You may need someone who can help you conceive and write copy. You may need someone who can plan smart site structure. You may need help getting a domain registered, files uploaded, e-mail accounts set up, and other technical details. You will definitely need someone who can do just about anything, or quickly find out how, or have an associate who can at the ready.
Use your “head” knowledge to narrow down your list of candidates, but don’t be afraid to use your intuition (“heart” knowledge) to get a feel for each person’s honesty, integrity and character. Using this mix of study, inquiry, discussion ,and feel, you will start to develop judgments about the candidates. Following this procedure thoroughly should result in your finding a good match for your Internet needs.
