Do not rent a propoerty from Todd Bebe in Katy or Houston Texas. He is unethical, and does not care about the condition of his properties. I will attempt to highlight the hell that my family was subjected to while leasing a townhome in Katy Texas. As a single mom of two children my goal is make sure no one else falls victim to the same situation.

In the first 3 months of leasing this property my AC went out 5 times in over 100 degree weather. The condensation line in the attic backed up causing ceiling damage. My stove did not work at all. My dishwasher and dryer worked very sub-par. There was a terrible roach infestation and to make matters worse the garage door broke and would not open electronically or manually.

Todd addressed the AC situation sending out repairmen who would tell me that he was only doing minimal patch work but was not really addressing the problem, therefore on 4 occassions I had to take off work and meet contractors to let them in the house until the job was finished. On the 5th call to Todd Bebe that his AC was not working he told me he is not doing anything else, I am 100% responsible for paying for the repairs. I paid for the AC repair out of my pocket because the weather was over 100 degrees.

Todd Bebe also refused to fix the ceiling which had major water damage. He told me to file it on my insurance, which is fraud, a renters policy does not cover water damage to the ceiling, the property owner is responsible for that. The smell of mold and mildew was very strong in the home and my son suffered from headaches.

I called Todd to inform him of his stove not working and was given the same response...you are responsible.

I called Todd to inform him that the garage door was not functional electronically or manually and he gave me the same response...you are responsible.

I do not even want to address the roach problem. It was so horrible that I never unpacked my kitchen supplies. We used only paper plates and cups. I paid out of my pocket to have exterminators come on a regular basis but the infestation was so bad we never fully eradicated them.

This is just a very high-level overview which does not address the 180 emails of abuse and insults. The hell moving out and the torment of living in such deplorable conditions.

Todd Bebe is unethical, unprofessional and a real life slum-lord. If you rent from him I feel sorry for you.
