Together Refusal of Refund Encino California

This happened to my husband about 7 years ago when he was single.

He had applied to Together and paid the exorbitant fee. Then when he went home and thought about it with a clear mind, he checked the Agreement and found he can cancel within 3 business days. He promptly canceled "without any penalty or obligation" as the contract states however Together did not comply. Instead they invited him to the office and persuaded him to continue the service.

What irritates and angers myself as well as my husband is that "Monique Dony" - the counselor in charge, used herself physically to convince him to continue. At the "face-to-face" meeting, she touched him and hugged him, using her femininity (sexuality) to make him forget why he was there and to persuade him to continue the dating service. Also the other women in the office surrounded him and told him to not cancel the contract and to give it a try. WELL! Anyone who's every taken Psych 101 will tell you - attractive women in make-up and pretty perfume in a man's personal space will make ANY man forget what he was thinking at all!
I feel strongly that this was a straight forward case of sexual harrassment. Monique, as well as the other women at the Together office KNEW what they were doing by surrounding a lonely-looking-for-a-nice-woman-to-date guy. They KNEW that they could change his mind just by being sweet, touching and hugging the man.
I thought I would share this experience with others after reading the reports. My husband did not get his refund and instead dated a few of the women that Together recommended by "obligation" to his contract.
