I've been taking surveys on Toluna for a long time, but I've never been able to cash out. I have noticed every month there is a "points deduction" taken from my account, of random amounts, and no reason given. I tried to contact Toluna, but there is ZERO contact information anywhere on their site, and the ONE contact form I found said it's only for login or registration issues, and doesn't actually work when you hit "submit". This company seems to be a fraud, as I found this site and a similar report when I did an internet search for "Toluna points decuction". What a huge waste of my time, doing any surveys for them.

Expiration of Points Stated in Terms

Please see our Terms and Conditions page, https://us.toluna.com/Terms, regarding the expiration of points. As you can see in the copied portion below (directly from our site) information on the expiration of points. These terms have been in effect since January, 2010 and each member must agree to them at registration.  The Contact Us link on the site will connect you to the help desk, and if there are any issues with that link, a member may contact us through Facebook or Twitter, or post a message on the TolunaTeam profile page simply asking for someone to contact them for account assistance.

 

 

Expiration of Points

When Points are credited to your account they will remain valid for one year (12 months) from the date they are earned. If after this period the Points have not been used, they will automatically expire and be deleted from your account. This deduction will always occur towards the end of the month, usually on the 28th day. For example, if you earned Points on 15 March 2015, they will be removed from your account on 28 March 2016, if they are still in your account. Points cannot be redeemed after the expiration date.

In addition, all of your Points will immediately expire and be forfeited in the event that you cancel your account at Toluna or if your account becomes "inactive." To be an active member means that you have joined Toluna and participated in a Survey or other activity on this Site within 12 months from your initial registration or within the preceding 12 months. Toluna will not provide you with any notice of the cancellation and forfeiture of any of your Points. Toluna reserves the right to suspend these cancellation and forfeiture rules in its sole discretion.
