I applied for a position on a well known site called careerbuiler.com for a position as a Regional Client Support for a business called Tom Maher. I was contacted initially by email and was told that they couldn't get a hold of me by phone. I told them that the number they had was correct and someone from the number 646-419-4127 called me. This male person had a very thick accent and told me about the position and that they wanted to hire me. They asked me no personal information about my prior job history or skills. He then asked me if I wanted to be hired and when I said yes, he told me that he would send me an agreement via email. In this agreement, they asked for my social security number, access to either my personal bank account or for me to open a bank account where the "company" would have access to the account. They also sent instructions where I would help them execute "electronic currency purchase/ sale via bank transfer"

The company information that was provided is that they are in Poland: Address: Majewskiego 14, Warsaw, Poland. Phone: +48-22-219-5184. Fax: (646) 478-9144. The person, Boris Soroka, that contacted me had two email addresses: hr@tom-maher.com and tom.maher.inc@gmail.com

They also sent a copy of a "license" written in Poland's native language, but I can make out some words, like "Licencja" which I believe means license.
