Tom Stokes Sports Plus Chicago Tom Stokes aggressively tried to sell me on marketing my business - thank you Rip Off Report I did not buy into his scam! Chicago Internet
*REBUTTAL Owner of company: I have never been to a restaurant selling advertising especially for trade on food?
I was confronted by Tom Stokes while he was in my restaurant with a young lady and he cornered me and tried to sell his marketing services on how he can grow my business. He was trying to get a free meal by putting a banner on his website - he was very creepy and unprofesional. After many phone calls from him - I decided to do some research and I came across this website. Thank you Rip Off Report I believe you just saved me a lot of money and headaches dealing with this man!

#1 REBUTTAL Owner of company
I have never been to a restaurant selling advertising especially for trade on food?
AUTHOR: Tom Stokes - (USA)

I have no idea who is making these claims but it would help if we knew that. I have never been to any restaurant in Chicago to try and sell advertising – EVER!!! There is several reports on here that pertain to me… None have no merit. I really don’t pay much attention to them but hey if you read a report on here and don’t want to do business with us that’s your business and we certainly understand. I cannot change these reports nor can I make them go away even though there is no evidence. This is really my word against their word (If there is really a real person here). Their identity is hidden… so how does one fight this? You can’t really and all I can do is write this rebuttal to an anonymous person with a bogus claim that may or may not exist. There is no evidence of any wrong doings... ever!!! Just these claims that I am trying to RIP OFF businesses. The person that wrote this report hides behind Rip Off and has no courage and will never show their identity. Why? Because the statement in the “Rip Off” report are NOT TRUE. If it was please show your identity and tell me what restaurant and a girl? Really? What girl? This is just a sorry attempt to discredit what we are doing from probably someone that A. Is jealous or B. Cannot handle we are shooting a TV show at a restaurant near them. Really not fair to us as a business but what is one to do? Facts are 1. I have never been to a restaurant with a girl selling advertising anywhere near this area and actually have never been to a restaurant selling advertising period. 2. We are here as a business and open to the public and welcome any complaint that we may have against us that is accurate and factual. 3. We have never had any complaints other than these reports listed on this website. I am attached to several national A list celebrities and get a lot of crazy emails because of that. These reports started popping up a couple years ago when doing TV show in Dallas with Cowboys. Now I am in Chicago and doing shows in several cities I am sure we will see more of this. Just use your best judgement here and of course I am always available to talk personally if you or anyone has a complaint with what I am doing or how I am doing it. Good luck and happy negative hunting. – Tom Stokes creator and producer of Sports Plus Dallas, Houston, Chicago, L.A., Vegas and New Orleans.
