I recieved a letter to today From TOP Financial Service, Inc. The letter stated I was one of the winners in the Compensation Draw for Sweepstakes Association of North America. The check inside was very good looking fro $4, 685.00. I was to use it to pay the taxes on the the $250,000 US dollars I had won. The taxes were in the amount of $3,865.00 and I am instructed to send a money gram to Samantha Ross in Brandon, Manitoba. I fired up my computer and just googled the bank listed on the check, Suntrust Bank, sure enough this the ripoff report was right there.
The names involved with this scam are Samantha Ross, Tax agent, David Longman, Promotions Manager, and Patrick Johnson, claims agent. Nice try they spend a few dollars but need to use a better letter head paper, and a much better envelope. Thank you Ripoff Report for giving me a clue.
