Top Foods - Federal Way Washington Rude Service, Lazy Personel Federal Way Washington

This report is in regards to the highly rude business practices at Top Foods in Federal Way, WA. Please note that this is only regarding the Federal Way location as I do shop at other Top Foods stores and love them.

This location refuses to open their Express Lanes in an attempt to force their customers to use the "Self Checkout"lanes which many of us refuse to use. If we wanted to know how to check out our own groceries, we would submit an application. I will not accept bad service from lazy employees just to Force me into their Self Checkout lines!

Instead of opening their express lane, they ONLY use the customer service desk which includes the lottery lines so while you may have 2 items and only 1 person in line ahead of you, you still will end up waiting for 5 to 20 minutes to actually get out of the store because the cashier is too busy taking care of the various lottery ticket buyers as well.

I have used this store all hours of the day, from early morning, to during the afternoon rush when everyone is shopping and they will not use their regular express lanes! This is extremely rude and just plain lazy! I have filed a few reports including to their corporate offices who "assured me the problem would be taken care of". It never was.

I highly recommend not shopping at this store. I will not even mention their produce department, which leaves a lot to be desired, as does their selection of food. Just the fact that these people are so lazy they don't want to do their jobs properly is enough to make me not shop there again. My only thought is that this location is attempting to force as many people as possible into their Self Checkout so they can report "How Successful It Is" when in fact, many of us detest the use of those lanes!

If you do shop at Top Foods, I highly recommend trying the Auburn or Kent locations as these stores seem absolutely amazing after dealing with the rude treatment at the Federal Way store. I love the Auburn store, which has no self checkout lines, and the Kent store has an amazing produce department.
