I entered into a contract with Internet Marketing Technology aka Top Website Placement, www.topwebsiteplacement.com, to place our firm's website in the #1 position on Google, Yahoo, MSN, myspace, CNN and about 20 other search engines. My reps, Mike Ortega and Jerry Lehman, both assured me they had a special contract with the search engines that would allow us to lock in the #1 position for less money than I paid on pay per click. Their site even makes a big deal that they "lock you into position" - Guaranteed.
Not only did they not do as they promised, they refused to refund my money when I asked. Instead of being locked into the number 1 position, I was way down the side where nobody looks or clicks. Traffic to my site fell off dramatically. I was losing business and these crooks refused to either refund my money or put me where they promised.
Stay away from these frauds. They are a joke and do not do what they say they will do. If they put you up, it will be way down the right side where no one will click. Many times I checked and I wasn't anywhere on the first page at all!
They took $5,000 from me and refused to give it back. They are crooks. Plain and simple.

The complaint filed by 'Mark' from Miami, Florida is a complete and utter hoax. A thorough search of our database shows that we have never had a client named 'Mark or Henry' nor a client from Miami, Florida. In addition, the report was identical to one submitted on the exact same day to another site.
The 'facts' outlined in this report are absurd and could never happen. We could never change the prices or the terms as all clients have signed contracts guaranteeing the price and the search terms. In addition, we would never continue to charge someone after they cancelled. That is unethical and would simply result in a chargeback.
Anyone who thinks this report is real needs to re-read the report. It is clearly fabricated and makes outlandish statements about what 'transpired.'
