I bought a dog gate online from Topman Merchants just after the holidays so that I would have the gate when my new puppy arrived. I bought the gate online through topman merchants on the 29th of December. On this day I also ordered several other items from other online merchants. All of the transactions were billed through my account by the 31st with the products also being delivered that same week. All of them that is except for the dog gate I ordered from Topman Merchants via their website called "dog-gates.com." I began to get a little worried as I visited my online checking account day after day to browse around for the transaction. Still nothing a week later? I eventually called them and left them a message regarding my issue. I made several phone calls to them and nobody ever called back. Then, out of the blue, they had the nerve to bill my account 10 days later without even calling me back to discuss the issue. By this time I had a screaming puppy and could not be inconvenienced with their lowly level of follow up. I had already went to another online retailer, bought the gate and even recieved it. This all before "dog-gates.com" even billed me for their product! Since then, and after at least 20 phone calls, they finally picked up the phone and told me that I would be credited. They did not apologize; just told me they would credit me.
Then in typical Topmerchant style, they have also drug their meandoring feet on this one as well. I still have not recieved the credit. I called them and left 6 messages yesterday and 3 today already. Either these guys are really busy, or really unmotivated. I wonder what they are doing over there that is so time consuming that it prevents them from helping their customers? World of warcraft? Sukoku? Whatever it may be, just call me back; give me my credit; and keep your product.
Funny enough they have provided me with some key tips on how not to treat customers. I manage a group of sales guys and have used this terrible experience to better my people.

I talked to one of the executive, Richard, on the phone. He was very nice and felt terrible about what happened. He aknowledged that the company made a major flaw and is working to alleviate the issues as to avoid futher complications. I believe his apology to be sincere. They are currently in the process of issue my credit.
