Torch Mark Coporation, Mr. Raudel Famous baite and switch West Covina California

I received an email from a company called Yanukyan Group out of West Covina, California regarding a job for a Union Benefits Coordinator.  They gave me an appointment time and date etc for an interview.  This didn't sound very professional so I "Googled" the company.

Their company name popped up with the "Ripoff Report" / Scam info underneath it. So I pulled it up and found another story exactly like mine.  I never even applied for a Union Benefits Coord position to begin with.

This made me look back at another company that also emailed me for a Union Benefits Coordinator position;   with a pre-set interview date and time.  Their name was:  Torch Mark Corp.  After googling them, thier  web page showed they sold life insurance and had nothing to do with Union Benefits. 

This isn't right that these companies can do this.  Money is tight when you are not working and the fact that they want you to drive 50 -100 miles out of your area for an interview that come to find out,  is all based on lies... is very said.  You become skeptical of everyone and everything.

I just hope some of these younger kids out there looking for work are smart enough to "google" a company you are considering interviewing for.... for obvious reasons.
