Toshiba Televisions "POP" black screen Poor quality TV's at a biggggg price !! Sterling, Colorado

We bought Toshiba 50HP66 Plazma TV for Christmas 2007 for $2000.  We watch for 13 months and "pop" black screen.  We were told to take in to get fixed 6 months later still not fixed.  Toshiba sent a refurbished set and 13 months later "pop" black screen. 

We watch less than 4 hours a day of TV --- great bargain !!  Toshiba says out of warranty and can do nothing.

I am sure I am out of luck with this poor quality of parts for this TV.  Toshiba's name for a top end TV has really changed over the years.  I have read many instances of the same problem on the internet and has to be cheap or defective parts being used and sold at a big price --- a big ripoff.

The picture was awesome ! while it lasted.

Bought at Best Buy in Ft Collins--said should last 7 to 10 years.
